General Updates: The curtain wall on the hotel and lower levels of the Grafton and Sackville sections are near complete. General Updates: The last glass units of the office tower unitized curtain wall is now complete. Available roofs were completed; temporary enclosures to allow mechanical work next to the ballroom are now in place. On average there are 190 workers on site daily. Drilling and blasting of the rock on-site has begun. We anticipate blasting 2-3 times per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8AM and 6PM (Or dusk) as per provincial regulations. Vehicle and foot traffic around the site will be shut down prior to a blast and be allowed to resume after the blast has occurred. Blasting will continue until the end of the excavation.

With the archeological study on the site of the future Nova Centre nearing completion, Dexter Construction Ltd. has been awarded the project’s major excavation contract and work has begun.
