General update:
- Construction has reached Market Street
- Major deliveries now occur within the confines of the fence line
- Night security is in effect from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
- It is anticipated that Grafton Street will be reinstated for construction use by mid-February
- New sanitary storm water lines have been installed along Argyle Street
- Installation of girders that support the balance of Grafton Street is complete
What’s coming up in January:
- Pouring concrete for the balance of level 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Erecting the supports for level 6
- Ongoing structural steel installation
- Installation of concrete encased duct banks for electrical wiring
- Relocation of the fence line along the site perimeter of Prince, Sackville and Market Streets will be carried out sequentially throughout January
Notice to neighbours:
- Sidewalk closures around construction site are still in effect
- Expect daily concrete truck activity and increased noise during construction at street level
- Businesses will be notified 5 days in advance of the following anticipated street closures:
- Sackville Street will close at Grafton Street. Traffic will be redirected via Market, Blowers and Barrington Streets
