New Activity
Electrical and communications conduit installations are scheduled to begin on Prince Street, between Market and Grafton. The estimated duration of this work is 1-2 weeks, during which traffic control measures will be undertaken to direct vehicles around the work zone.
Ongoing Activity
- Sidewalk closures around the construction site continue to be in effect.
- Drilling for shoring installation (within the site perimeter) is ongoing.
- Waterline removal and upgrades are in progress at the intersection of Prince and Grafton Streets and expected to be complete this week.
Upcoming Activity
Excavation and removal of overburden material by truck is expected to begin the week of November 26th and continue through to summer 2013. Further updates will be provided before rock blasting begins.
